On October 18th 2011 the Swiss ICT Award ceremony took place at the Swiss ICT Forum in the KKL in Lucerne.

This year’s winners are:
Companies
- Newcomer Award: Joiz, a TV station with Web integration, a novel and globally unique concept
- Champion Award: Noser Engineering, a well established software service company in technical IT working for Swiss, European and global customers
Public
- Public Award: Joiz—Oops they did it again. (They now have to think where to put the two trophies).
People
- Newcomer Award: Laurent Haug, founder and president of the Lift Conference (Europe and Asia) and founder of the Lift Lab in Sierre, Switzerland
- Champion Award: Prof. Dr. Markus Gross, Professor for Computer Science at the ETH Zürich, Head of the Computer Graphics Laboratory and director of Disney Research Zurich.
As a member of the jury I am very happy for the winners and extend my sincere congratulations. It had been a difficult decision to select the winners from the excellent finalists.
